To her agent Gloria Safier, letter discusses her upcoming autobiography which was published in 1959, specifically with regards to the collaborator on the book. Reads in part, ''...He's doing a good job I think; he has the ability to keep my 'style', using about 90% of my material but organizing it into shape & form...Also what do you think of this as a title 'I Couldn't Walk Alone.''' Signed ''Mary'', 2pp. letter measures 7'' x 10'' and has a staple at top left and a pencil notation in an unknown hand beneath signature. Very good.
