Rare telephone used in the White House during the Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Clinton administrations. Touchtone telephone bears a White House Centrex label on the faceplate, which also lists extension numbers for Staff Advisor, Press Advisor, Press Office, WHCA Office, Communication Center, Radio Room, and Operator. Warning in red caps reads: ''THIS IS A NON-SECURE TELEPHONE''. Code stamped to bottom of phone indicates Western Electric model number 2500DMG, dating the earliest use of the phone to the beginning of the Reagan administration. Light wear, overall very good condition.
