Composed on his personalized stationery, Roosevelt writes about the nuts and bolts of running the Warm Springs Institute, in part, ''I am sorry the pipes froze and I am writing Curt to find out why this is necessary. Also, to tell him that he must reserve a couple of rooms on the ground floor for patients who may come unexpectedly during the next month. / I think the enclosed suggestion of your joining the Public Health Association is excellent. Either you or Dr. Hubbard should do so, charging the dues to the Foundation. / I hope your health is working out all right and I take it you are busy with the Christmas preparations. / Things here are as usual - extremely busy but otherwise uneventful...[signed] FDR.''
