Abraham Lincoln magic lantern slide, taken by photographer Alexander Hessler on 28 February 1857. The image (#O-2) is known for Lincoln's very tousled hair, which he apparently mussed up after Hessler smoothed it down. Glass slide measures 4'' x 3.25'', including casing. Very good condition.
