Two page souvenir transcript of H. Louis Nichols' testimony to the Warren Commission, each page signed by Nichols, who was the only lawyer to meet with Lee Harvey Oswald after President John F. Kennedy's assassination. Although criminal suspects in Texas had no right to a lawyer in 1963, Nichols - who was president of the Dallas Bar Association at the time, philosophically believed that Oswald should have representation and met with him as a result. Interestingly, Nichols' testimony states that Oswald told him that he wanted a lawyer who believed in his innocence. Two page document on two sheets each measures 11'' x 8.5''. Near fine condition.
