Two copies of a White House press release dated 8 October 1961. Release announces a series of gifts given to Mrs. Kennedy and the White House from Edward White, President of the National Society of Interior Designers. The release itemizes the gifts, which include historic American furnishings. One copy bears a pencil notation of ''SP'' (Sally Powers). Each measures 8.5'' x 11''. One copy is very good with a slight tear to lower left; other is near fine. From the papers of Sally Powers, Secretary to White House curator Lorraine Pearce.
