Eastern Air Lines vintage lapel pin, circa 1940s, promoting their flagship New York to Washington flight that took exactly 80 minutes each way. Gold tone pin shows the Eastern bird at center against a sunrise, with the rim reading, ''Eighty Minute Men Washington - NY''. Robbins Co. of Attleboro maker's mark appears on verso. Measures .625'' across. Very good condition. From the estate of Eastern Air Lines executive Paul Brattain.
