J.K. Rowling signed first U.S. edition, first printing of ''Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'', the second installment in the Harry Potter series. New York: Scholastic Press, 1999 with all first edition points present, most notably without the ''YEAR 2'' badge, thereby denoting it as the first printing. In this book, Harry Potter, second-year student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, finds himself in danger from a dark power that has once more been released on the school, when the Chamber of Secrets is reopened. Signed in large black in, ''JK Rowling'' on the title page. Housed in original unclipped dust jacket, book measures 6.25'' x 9.25''. Front hinge is starting to separate and a discreet private library stamp on title page, otherwise both book and jacket are near fine.
