Preliminary budget for ''Star Wars'' from early 1976, shortly before shooting began that spring. Document runs 31 pages, with handwritten entries mostly for art and special effects staff salaries, all in Great British sterling. ''R[obert] Watts'' is listed as the Production Supervisor for the film, and the following are listed under Art Department Salaries, all of whom are credited on IMDB for the film: ''J[ohn] Barry'', ''L[eslie] Dilley'', ''R[oger] Christian'' and ''L[iz] Moore''. This page also lists dates ranging from mid-1975 to February 1976, ostensibly when the individuals were hired. The title ''Star Wars'' is not listed anywhere in the document, which measures 12.75'' x 8.5'', bound in blue paper wrappers secured by brads. From the collection of former 20th Century Fox executive Peter Beale, who was in charge of production for ''Star Wars''.
