Joan Crawford typed letter signed. Letter answering fan mail appears on Crawford's personal stationery, dated 28 February 1961. In full, ''Thank you so much for sending me the beautiful Valentine. How sweet you were to think of me, and I'm deeply grateful. I've been Barbados where I did nothing but eat, sleep, read and swim. I had a divine rest. I plan on doing some television work in the near future. At the moment, the writers are working on the script, so I have nothing definite to tell you now. Bless you, and thank you again for your thoughtfulness. [signed] Joan''. Single page letter measures 6.25'' x 7''. Small stain near the left edge and a crease through center from folding, overall very good. With original envelope with Crawford's address.
