Norman Rockwell typed letter signed on his personal stationery, dated 12 March 1974. Letter is addressed to a Mr. Brown and reads in full: ''In reply to your letter of the 7th, I am very sorry but I have had to make a rule not to have visitors at my studio. My schedule is so overcrowded that I just can't have interruptions. This I hope you will understand. If you are interested, I will mention that some fifty of my best originals are on permanent exhibit at the Old Corner House here in Stockbridge, closed on Tuesday.'' Signed ''Norman Rockwell'', single-page letter measures 6'' x 7.75''. Includes original envelope. Near fine.
