Official press release listing changes in the State Dining Room of the Kennedy White House as part of the White House Restoration project. 25 September 1961 release from the Office of the Assistant Social Secretary for the Press itemizes the changes, including the addition of a pair of paintings, addition of sconces, the gilding of the chandelier as well as changes to the display of the vermeil collection. Runs 1pp. on 1 sheet measuring 8.5'' x 14''. Some toning and light creasing, else near fine. Originally from the papers of Sally Powers, who served as secretary to White House curator Lorraine Pearce.
