James Monroe document signed as President, dated 13 November 1822. Monroe here grants land in the state of Indiana. 16.25'' x 10'' vellum document shows the paper seal fully intact at lower left. Folded in thirds, with one fold just touching the J in James, and light wear typical of vellum. Very good condition.
