Program for the 38th Academy Awards held on 18 April 1966 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. 16 page program lists nominations, staff, and sponsors, with the famous Oscar statue in in raised gold on cover. Host of the show was Bob Hope for the second year in a row and ''The Sound of Music'' took home 5 awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. 1966 was the first year the Oscars were telecast in color, as advertised on first page of program. Program cover measures 9'' x 12'', pages measure 8.5'' x 11''. Some toning and creasing to program. Overall very good condition.
