Olympic torch from the 2014 Olympic Torch Relay. The Torch Relay tradition was begun in 1928, where a spark from the parent flame in Olympia, Greece ignites the torch that begins the Relay, ending in the host city in time for the opening ceremonies, in this case Sochi on 7 February 2014. Silver and red torch features ''Sochi.ru'' Olympic logo to top with lamp component to top. Housed in official tan carrying bag with red strap. Measures 37'' long and 5.5'' across the handle. Black discoloration to top from use. Near fine condition.
