Signed third edition of Eleanor Roosevelt's 1937 autobiography ''This is My Story''. Inscribed to Marjorie Bennett, a friend of Roosevelt's from Allenswood Academy in London, Roosevelt writes, ''Dearest Marjorie, I hope this may bring back pleasant memories. With much love, Eleanor Roosevelt''. The first lady attended the finishing school Allenswood from 1899 to 1902, the story of which is partially documented in the book. Measures 6.5'' x 9.5''. Binding is slightly loose due to cracked front hinge, overall very good.
