Photo and stationery lot of Hugh Brannum, the actor who played Mr. Green Jeans on ''Captain Kangaroo''. Lot comprises 113 black and white photos of the actor, costumed in character as Mr. Green Jeans, clad in a straw hat, plaid shirt and green overalls. Semi-matte photos are all identical, likely used by Brannum to be signed for fans. Also included are 35 sheets of stationery and 8 envelopes printed with Brannum's name and P.O. Box address in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. Photos measure 8'' x 10. Stationery measures 8.5'' x 11''. Envelopes measure 9.5'' x 4''. Some foxing to a few pieces of stationery and a few envelopes. Discoloration to three of the photos, otherwise lot is near fine. Acquired at the estate sale of Hugh Brannum's widow on 28 June 2014 in Saylorsburg, PA.
