''Captain Kangaroo'' acclaimed actor Hugh Brannum Marine Corps memorandum. Brannum enlisted in the Marine Corps during WWII and joined a Marine band led by Bob Crosby. Document lists guidelines in preparing a resume to be included with the application. One page sheet is headed ''Marine Corps Eastern Recruiting Division / Memorandum for Applicant for Commission Marine Corps Reserve''. With two 2.5'' x 3.25'' black-and-white glossy photos of Brannum stapled to top. Document measures 7.75'' x 10.25''. Two punch holes and minor toning. Very good. Acquired at the estate sale of Hugh Brannum's widow on 28 June 2014 in Saylorsburg, PA.
