Hugh Brannum's official Marines discharge papers, dated 29 October 1945. Before becoming Mr. Green Jeans on ''Captain Kangaroo'', Brannum enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and this sheet officiates his discharge. With Brannum's name printed to top, certificate is signed by a Camp Pendleton official and measures 4.25'' x 8.5'' on one sheet. Toning and folds to right corner. Very good condition. Acquired at the estate sale of Hugh Brannum's widow on 28 June 2014 in Saylorsburg, PA.
