Ray Bradbury personal collection of Joseph Mugnaini sketches for his 1953 short story, ''The Murderer'', which was published as part of ''The Golden Apples of the Sun''. First sketch is untitled and depicts a man looking fearful, seeming to listen to his watch as people argue below. Second image is identical, minus the crowd of people. First sketch measures 11'' x 9'', with an uneven left edge and matted to an overall size of 14'' x 12''. Second sketch measures 12'' x 9'', matted to an overall size of 13'' x 11''. Lot also includes a promotional poster for the book measuring 14'' x 21.5''. Each has a ''Return to Ray Bradbury'' to verso. Blocks of toning, overall very good. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
