Ernest Hemingway signed photo of him in jovial conversation with Jack Haley, Chief Steward of the S.S. Constitution. Hemingway's inscription to the upper right of the image reads, "To Jack best always / from his friend / Ernest Hemingway". Glossy photo bears a Robert Harrow stamp developed into the image's lower left. Measures 10" x 8". Some fading to inscription and adhesive residue to verso, else near fine.
