Iconic photo of Shepard holding the American flag on the moon is mounted to a mat bearing Shapard's autograph inscription, reading, "To Jim & Barbara / with my personal regards - Alan Shepard". Photo is dated "Apollo 14 / 2/5/71" on the mat. Photo measures 7" x 7" and signed mat measures 10" x 11.75". Toning to mat and some fading to photo, else near fine.
