Scarce JFK & Jackie invitation to attend their wedding on 12 September 1953, along with the invitation card to the reception and the card to present for admittance. Invitation card has the guest's observations written inside, ''Very gay...enter church and pause on steps as Jackie waves and grins...'' Front of card that displays printed invitation has no writing though. Item measures 4.25'' x 5.75''. Other two cards measure 4'' x 3'' and 3.75'' x 2.5'' respectively. Toning and glue residue from previous inclusion in a scrapbook to all three pieces. Very scarce, with most invitations destroyed well before Kennedy was elected President. Lot also includes two snapshots that came with the invitations, perhaps of the people invited, and a newspaper article about the wedding.
