Official invitation and program to the inaugural ceremony of John F. Kennedy as President, and Lyndon B. Johnson as Vice President. Large card-style invitation features patriotic emblem and script to cover, with original tissue paper covering photos of Kennedy and Johnson inside. Measures 6.5" x 10". Program has the Great Seal stamped in gold on front, with red, white and blue ribbon binding its eight pages. Names of note include performer Marian Anderson and poet Robert Frost, who wrote an original poem entitled "Dedication" for the event. Measures 6" x 9". Also includes original envelope with "Congress Of The United States", "Section A" and "No. 2803" printed to the corner. Overall fine.
