NO I GOT NO COVERS. yes I tried to git [sic] in armed serves [sic] to much prison. I was razed [sic] inside the systems by vets - serves [sic] men retired were like uncles. I've been OUT behind all that media stuff they lie + twist what ever you do or say anyway. when your in a cage + in handcuffs they come up with books + make a LOT of mony [sic] with my music they just take what they want - I got no rights - LIKE you say here - 'Enclosed is a copy of the cards ''Etc'' NO way [illegible] NO IS here - I like your pictures you are a sharp [illegible] man. much respect Charlie Manson''. Single-page letter on ruled stationery with Harley-Davidson logo at the top measures 8.5'' x 11''. Envelope is included, stamped with the year 1991. Creasing, else near fine. (2) John Lennon assassin Mark David Chapman autograph letter signed. Dated 29 March 1995, letter on plain paper reads in full, ''Dear Mr. Kloda - Sorry I've not written in some time. forgive me! I've recently gotten several copies of my personal testimony: I thought you might like to have some. they are enclosed. Also, several brochures of 'The Prisoner's Letter' are coming to you. If you wish me to inscribe them, please send them to me & I will return them to you - God Bless You, Mr. Kloda - Yours, Mark''. Accompanied by a signed ministry brochure printed with Chapman's story. Autograph inscription to its front panel reads, ''God Bless You! / Ma...D Chap / Attica, NY . March 29, 1995''. Chapman signs the mailing envelope as well on the return address portion, ''Chap 81A3860''. Single-page letter in black ink on a plain white sheet of paper measures 8.5'' x 11''. Creasing, else fine.
