President Dwight D. Eisenhower White House envelope signed. A rare signature, as Presidents were reluctant to sign envelopes lest they be mistaken for free franks. Though not a free frank, as Eisenhower signed in the center of the envelope and not in the upper right, it is as close to an example of one as can be found. Envelope measures 8.75'' x 4'', signed boldly across the face in black ink: ''Dwight D. Eisenhower''. Minor soiling, not affecting pristine signature. Near fine.
