Leonardo DiCaprio screen-used ''Gangs of New York'' prop axe. DiCaprio wielded this spike axe in the scenes depicting the Draft Riots in which he killed a Union soldier as character Amsterdam Vallon. The successful film was directed by Martin Scorsese and was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. 28.5'' long rubber axe is artfully hand-painted and distressed. Near fine. With a COA from Miramax.
