Babe Ruth's personally owned sterling silver humidor, custom engraved for him. Metal humidor lined in wood is engraved inside the lid, ''To The Babe / Happy 24th Birthday / Best wishes, / The City of Boston''. On the top of the lid are his initials ''BR'' flanked by applied baseball bats bearing his facsimile signature and ''Boston Red Sox'' respectively. Ruth's 24th birthday, 6 February 1919, marked his last with the Red Sox. Humidor with hinged lid measures 7.5'' x 3.5'' x 1''. Tarnishing and scuffing, else near fine.
