Charles Lindbergh signed book ''Ride on the Wind'' published by Charles Scribner's Sons: New York: 1956. The famed aviator inscribes the title page: ''Charles A. Lindbergh'' in black ink. This is the story of the first non-stop flight from America to Europe as told in his famous publication ''The Spirit of St. Louis,'' but adapted to a children's book by Alice Dalgliesh. Fully illustrated by Georges Schreiber, the tale runs 30pp. Housed in pictorial cloth boards with original dustjacket. Measures 8.25'' x 10.5''. Signature page has an inscription by the previous owner. Bumping to board corners and wear along top and bottom edges of boards; very good plus. Chipping and some paper loss to dustjacket edges; good condition.
