Six of the distinguished group sign the lower margin: ''Alan B Shepard Jr.'', ''John H. Glenn, Jr.'', ''Virgil I. Grissom'', ''M. Scott Carpenter'', ''Donald K. Slayton'' and ''Leroy G. Cooper, Jr''. Wally Schirra's signature is missing. 10'' x 8'' photo has a matte finish. An inscription to the upper left reads: ''To Shirley''. Very mild dampstaining to the bottom, else fine.
