William Taft typed letter signed on his personal stationery, dated 12 June 1915. Taft's note to Edward Bok, editor of ''Ladies Home Journal,'' reads in full: ''...I have your telegram and shall hope to be on hand for the dinner at the Bellevue-Stratford...'' The bold black ink signature reads: ''Wm. H. Taft''. Single page card style letter, measuring 7'' x 9.25'', shows minor toning. Near fine.
