William Taft typed letter signed on his personal stationery, dated 3 November 1914. Taft writes to Edward Bok: ''...I would be glad to accompany you on the train if I had not already made a different arrangement. My brother [Taft handwrites ''the teacher and the best of the family''] has an automobile...you will understand that a previous arrangement prevents the pleasure that I would have in being with you...Wm H Taft''. Single page card style letter, measuring 7'' x 9.25'', shows minor toning, else very good. Excellent, bold signature.
