Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor original custom-made costume from the 1954 MGM romantic musical ''Rhapsody''. Taylor plays Louis Durant in the film, a rich, young beauty who follows the man she loves to Zurich while he studies violin at the conservatory. Costume is designed by Helen Rose and has Taylor's name and the movie's production numbers handwritten to tag on inseam. Originally acquired from the famous MGM Archives Sale, held in 1970 to free up space on the studio lot that had been occupied by the thousands of costumes and props used in MGM pictures over the years.
