Marilyn Monroe class photo, uncommonly signed as Norma Jean Baker. The star is pictured here as a student at Ralph Waldo Emerson Junior High School, class of summer 1941. Her autograph inscription to a classmate at the Davis, California school appears on verso in blue ink, ''To a swell nice + perfect girl / Norma Jean Baker''. A circle has been lightly drawn around the inscription in pencil to distinguish it from the dozens of others. Glossy photo measures 24.75'' x 8''. Partial vertical split on left and major creasing with some surface loss along creases. Overall good condition.
