Dated 12 May 1939, he writes to the General Manager of the Pennsylvania Railroad thanking him for recent accommodations for his trip from Chicago to Washington. Reads in part: ''...thanks to your courtesy in having a private car placed at my disposal. Every detail was perfectly handled...'' 1pp. measures 7.25'' x 10.5''. Small binding holes near upper left, else near fine.
