Doeskin gloves worn by Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor. Bracelet-length eggshell color gloves feature an asymmetrical design to the vented cuffs. A label sewn within bears print, ''W / A'', with ''W / b / a'' written upon it in ink. Gloves are very good, save for notations written on them: in red ink ''Windsor'', in black ink ''Windsor 69'' and ''NA / 501 / L''. Displayed with a pair of 4.75'' x 6'' photos of the Duke and Duchess in a 2'' deep frame, to an overall size of 16.75'' x 18.75''. With provenance from the 1997 ''Duke & Duchess of Windsor'' sale at Sotheby's, lot 2252/6.
