Letter dated 14 February 1971 reads in part: ''...I am confident history will record that support such as yours during these difficult times contributed significantly to our mutually shared goal -- a full generation of peace. As I embark on my mission to Peking, I want you to know much I deeply appreciate your thoughts...'' Single page on White House letterhead, signed ''RN'' in black ink, measures 6.75'' x 8.75''. Stamped as Received by Young's office on verso. Near fine.
