Stanley Kubrick typed letter signed, dated 14 June 1970. Here, Kubrick writes to ''New Yorker'' journalist Jeremy Bernstein, who profiled the director for the magazine and the two remained friends. Reads in full: ''Thank you very much for having a copy of 'The Wildest Dreams of Kew' sent to me. I certainly enjoyed reading the book, though I must confess I would still not like to do it myself. I should hope that from the acknowledgment, I will receive several free lightmeters.'' Signed ''Stanley'' in bright red ink. Letter on one page measures 7.25'' x 10.5''. Two folds, else near fine.
