Unsurpassed eight-time Oscar-winning woman Edith Head autograph letter signed. Upon St. Regis New York stationery, the famed costume designer pens an undated message to a man named George. Letter in ink reads in full, ''In frenzied haste, as I have been making records all the morning, and now have to finish my packing. Here is the missing piece. Affectionate best wishes / Edith''. Single-page letter is attractively matted and framed beside her photo to an overall size of 18.5'' x 14.5'', with a viewable area of 7.75'' x 8''. Letter has not been removed for inspection but, save for folds appears fine.
