Large wooden storage chest from the Captain Kangaroo show. Used to store toys from the show, this Benson & Hedges chest, likely oak, features sturdy brass handles on lid and side, brass bands along edges and brass accent piece on lid top. Inside features a cedar lift-out that divides the spacious cavity into two. Measures 36'' x 27'' x 27.5'' and weighs 115 pounds. Condition is very good.
