Honorary degree from Kean College presented to Arthur Ashe during commencement exercises on 24 May 1990. Degree bestows Ashe with ''Doctor of Humane Letters.'' Degree is housed in a teal leather folder and measures 11.5'' x 9''. Accompanied by a second leather folder containing a one-page biography of Ashe and the commencement booklet from 1990. Overall near fine condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
