Arthur Ashe personally owned ''Los Angeles / 1984 / XXIII Olympiad'' commemorative medal. With iconic Olympic rings engraved. This Olympics marked the return of tennis as a demonstration sport, as it had been in 1968. Though Ashe had retired in 1980, he continued to contribute to the game of tennis by supporting countless organizations. Front of award reads ''Citius Altius Fortius'' with an engraved depiction of the LA Coliseum. Measures 2.25'' in diameter. Mild tarnishing, else very good. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
