Arthur Ashe's ''Past Champion'' 1981 U.S. Open badge, commemorating his 1968 singles championship against rival Tom Okker. In 1968, Ashe won both the U.S. Amateur Championships and the U.S. Open, becoming the only player to have won both in the same year. White ribbon reads: '''81 US Open / Past Champion''. White ribbon with blue lettering is affixed to a white piece of plastic with safety pin to verso. Measures 2.75'' x 7.5'' with minor wrinkling throughout, else very good condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
