Arthur Ashe commemorative trophy awarded during the 1977 Robert Kennedy Pro-Celebrity tournament held at the West Side Tennis Club at Forest Hills as a benefit for the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation. By 1977, Ashe was a bona fide legend after his 5 July 1975 Wimbledon win as the first African American ever to do so. Small 3'' x 4'' golden cup is engraved: ''Robert F. Kennedy Tennis Tournament 1977''. Cup is made by ''Leonard'' as is engraved on bottom. Some tarnishing and minor scratching, else very good condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
