Sterling silver trophy awarded to Arthur Ashe as the Men's Singles Winner in 1963 during the L.B.T.C. (Long Beach Tennis Center) tournament. Trophy was awarded to Ashe at the young age of 20 while he was studying at UCLA on a tennis scholarship. Ashe, who started playing when he was 7, was already 14 years into his remarkable career when he took home this award. Elegant sterling silver trophy platter has ''L.B.T.C National Hardcourt Men's Sgls. Winner 1963'' engraved at center. Measures 13'' in diameter and 2'' in height with two stickers on the bottom notating his widow's name and address. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
