Original movie title art crediting Dean Martin in His Film "4 For Texas", made by Pacific Title Co. Title artwork is perhaps the most scarce of movie and television collectibles, and beautiful in its craftsmanship. The company who produced the majority of them, Pacific Title Co. hand painted more than 50,000 of these titles glass panels, though few survived as the glass at the time was considered more valuable than the actual artwork and as such, the panes would be washed and re-used. The consignor of this piece purchased the remaining Pacific Title archive pieces including this unique piece, the only Dean Martin glass title known to exist. Glass panel has been paired with a reproduced Dean Martin background image from the film "4 For Texas", and then archival-framed for protection and display. Measures 33.5" x 23.75" overall. Fine.
