Military document signed by King George IV on 10 April 1823, appointing one Ralph Walsh as Ensign to the King's Company, 25th Regiment. Countersigned by the Secretary of War for England and the Colonies, Lord Henry Bathurst. Vellum document measures 13.5'' x 9.5'', with the blue seal of the English crown to left. Folds, toning, light soiling and smudge to large, bold signature of King George IV. Very good plus.
