Oil mogul John D. Rockefeller signed stock certificate for Standard Oil Trust, issuing 100 shares to a R.W. Burke. Stock is signed ''J.D. Rockefeller'' as company President, countersigned by Henry M. Flager as secretary and Jabez A. Bostwick as Treasurer. Certificate is dated 7 May 1884, with serial number A413. Measures 15.75'' x 7.75''. Signatures crossed out, and glue residue where stock has been attached to stub, otherwise very good condition.
