John F. Kennedy handwritten notes as a Massachusetts Senator on official ''United States Senate'' letterhead. Circa May 1953, JFK writes in pencil and ink on lined tablet paper regarding a variety of economic issues, especially as they affected New England. Page is numbered along the left side, corresponding to eight handwritten notes on the right side, such as, ''In every case - supposed to be supplemented - we had better get in an expert on this section'' and ''areas which have suffered many years of unemployment without relief''. He also writes various numbers and doodles at top left. Single page measures 8'' x 10.5''. Minor foxing on bottom and toning throughout. Very good condition. Originally part of lot 188 of the Guernsey's 1998 JFK sale.
