Joan Crawford typed letter signed, written to a fan on her personal stationery, dated 30 August 1961. Letter reads in part, ''...I am very delighted that I will be on the panel of judges at the Miss America Beauty Pageant next month in Atlantic City, and that I will be the Grand Marshal at their parade. I don't know whether or not the parade will be telecast, as no one has told me, but I do know that the last evening of the Beauty Contest will be telecast, on CBS, on September 9th. Now, I understand the television show, 'The Ziegfeld Touch' will be on CBS on October 29, at 10 p.m., New York time. As ever, [signed] Joan''. Single-page letter measures 6.25'' x 7''.
